Configure a Wi-Fi Automated Monitoring Node (AMN) to connect to your network and the neatMon Cloud API.
The Wi-Fi Automated Monitoring Node (AMN-PLUS-W, AMN-MINI-W or AMN-MODULO-W) connects to your local Wi-Fi network and transmits sensor data to the neatMon Cloud API.
This guide explains how to:

C to stop booting and enter Configuration Mode.Press 'C' to stop booting and configure.......
After entering configuration mode, you’ll see:

Type 1 to enter Network Config.
Within the Network Config menu:

After entering SSID and password, press enter to save, then type x to go back.
From Network Config, go to the next page:

Type 1 to connect.
If successful, you’ll see output like (Note: This is using AyrMesh WiFi AP with a custom WiFi Key):

Modem: Signal Strength: -38 dBm
Return to the Main Menu and select:

The node will reboot automatically.
On reboot, verify these messages appear:
Syncing network configurations with server...
Syncing general configurations with server...
Syncing sensor configuration with server...
nM Initialization Complete..
Starting Main Processes
You may also see the device’s IP and signal strength:
Modem: IP address: 192.168.1.207
Modem: Signal Strength: -34 dBm
If these appear, the node is successfully connected to your Wi-Fi network and is communicating with the neatMon Cloud API.
| Issue | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Wi-Fi fails to connect | Incorrect SSID or password | Re-enter credentials in Network Config |
| No IP address assigned | DHCP not enabled | Enable DHCP on your router |
| No data on dashboard | API path incorrect | Ensure /api/device/{GUID} matches your device GUID |
| RTC not set | No internet time sync | Wait for automatic sync or check server connectivity |
| Configuration lost after reboot | Battery switch was OFF (brownout) | Ensure battery switch is ON before setup and saving |
